2024 Legislative Session

The 2024 Legislative Session adjourned on Thursday, February 15, 2024. The Governor has until March 6, 2024 to take action on any Legislation that was passed by the state legislature. The Post-Session legislative report reflects the status of the bills that impact NMSU and Higher Education. Items include Funding for NMSU System Instruction & General (I&G), compensation and other NMSU initiatives.

2023 Legislative Session

The 2023 Legislative Session adjourned on March 18, 2023. The Governor had until April 7 to act on any legislation that was passed by the state legislature. The Post-Session Legislative Report reflects the status of bills that impact NMSU and higher education.  Items include funding for NMSU system Instruction & General (I&G), compensation, and other NMSU initiatives.
